  • DST (SERB) Core Research Grand Project for Project titled "Photo-thermal optimization of upconversion nanoparticles as a contrast enhancer for Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)" in 2024.

  • Project grant of 23.28 Lakh granted by DST-New Delhi (FAST TRACK) for the project title of “Studies on rare earth ions doped upconversion nano-pjosphors as optical sensors” in 2013.

  • Project grant of 12.25 Lakh granted by CSIR, New Delhi for the project title of “Development of rare-earths doped upconversion phosphor particles for finger print detection and sensors” in 2013.

  • Project grant of 34.10 Lakh granted by DST-SERB, New Delhi for the project title of “Studies on light induced heating in upconversion nanoparticles and their optimization for the use as photo-acoustic contrast agent”.

  • Appointed as Co-ordinator for the Departmental level DST-FIST project (Department Programme) of amount 201 Lakh in 2013.

  • Dr. Prasenjit Prasad Sukul has been awarded by the Best Researchers award of Canera bank resaecrh award  IIT(ISM) in the category of Physics in 2018.

  • Mr. Madan M. Upadhyay has been selected for the post of Vice-president of SPIE, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in 2019.

  • Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mishra has been awarded by the Best oral presentation award in virtual International conference organized by CBIT Hyderabad in 2020.

  • Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mishra has won Third place in Quiz competition conducted on the occasion of International Day of Light organized by OSA and SPIE unit of IIT(ISM).

  • Mr. Cinumon K V has won First place in essay writing and second place in Quiz competition conducted on the occasion of International Day of Light-2023 organized by OSA and SPIE unit of IIT(ISM).

  • Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mishra has won Best oral presentation in International Conference ASTM-2024 organized by Department of Physics, IIT(ISM).

  •  Mr. Cinumon K V has won third place in poster presentation in Research Scholars Conclave-2024 organized by Department of Physics, IIT(ISM).
